This is our second visit to Riding Farm Cottages, and we will be back. Angus Louise and Isabel seem to know what you need to have a relaxing holiday. We went for Half Term to arrive to one of Isabels lovely cakes, Halloween sweets and pumpkins for the children to carve. Angus later in our holiday took the children for a ride on the tractor and we fed the chickens most days. The cottage we stayed in this time had 2 bedrooms, both had TV which kept the children happy and allowed us a lie in. Spotless clean, lovely hand soaps and toasty warm for our arrival. Loads to do about the area and on the farm. We will be back.

5 Stars! Cottage was well equipped. Lovely decor and a cake awaiting us on arrival. Milk in the fridge too. Really close to Beamish and got discount voucher from the owner. Also not far from Durham. Good selection of dvds to watch and beds very comfy. Would go back for longer next time.

5 Stars! A lovely location, lovely cottage and lovely hosts.  We booked last minute with Louise, could not help us enough, we arrived early and Lisa showed us in to our cottage. The cottage was spacious with all we needed including milk in the fridge and a home made cake. We will be back.

This is one of the most friendly places you could stay. The cottages are roomy, clean and well equipped. The Host and Hostess are as friendly as you'll get. We were welcomed with a home made sponge cake! Recommend having breakfast as it's a great way to meet other guests and the breakfast itself is great. The Cottages are ideally placed for exploring the sites and attractions of this lovely part of the country or for leisurely strolls through the countryside or just chilling. We will definitely be coming back to Riding Farm cottages.
