The Old Dairy is a 200 year old luxury cottage with lots of added extras. Described in our visitors book once as - 'The jewel in Nidderdales crown'.
Set in the beautiful hamlet of Timble and perfect for couples, it is the ideal base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and surrounding area. It's distance from Harrogate is 8 miles, Skipton 10 miles and Ilkley 5 miles.
The cottage offers stunning valley views, peace and quiet and has many great walks from the doorstep. Excellent fishing is at Fewston and Swinsty reservoirs ( 7 minute walk from the cottage).
Ideally situated also for visiting the historic spa town of Harrogate and The Gateway To The Dales, Skipton.
The accommodation comprises of an open plan lounge/kitchen and dining area (all on one level) with a cosy log burning stove. Patio doors open onto the lovely terrace with stunning views. Wifi and SKY TV are supplied along with DVD, CD and players.
The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave oven and all kitchen equipment.
The spacious bedroom has oak beams and patio doors leading out to the private garden. Stunning views of the Washburn Valley can be seen from all aspects of the cottage, patio and garden. There is a choice of either 2 single or a super king size bed.
The Old Dairy has it's own totally private and very pretty garden and patio with outside seating to enjoy the panoramic views. You also have complimentary use of a BBQ. You can have an evening meal in the cottage if you have had a busy day travelling. Freshly cooked for you using local ingredients our 'catering in the cottage' service is quite unique.

By Car:
From Harrogate follow the A59 to Blubberhouses. Turn left at the church at Blubberhouses signposted to Otley. Carry on for 2 miles until you reach a crossroads. Turn left and follow the road to a split. Take the right hand fork to Timble village and The Old dairy is the first building on your right hand side.
