Primrose Cottage is on the main street in Lochcarron, and has sea views from all the rooms, it is approximately 7metres from the sea shore. It is a small traditional style cottage, which has been modernised recently.
In the lounge there is a comfortable leather sofa, colour TV, DVD, and CD player.
The kitchen is well fitted, and has a good supply of all the usual pots pans cutlery and crockery. There is a small fridge with freezer compartment, microwave oven and electric cooker. A nice table and chairs, completes the kitchen furnishings. There is a downstairs toilet and wash hand basin and outside a laundry room, with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, both have the original wood floors and comfort rugs. The double room has a full size double bed and the twin room has two single beds. There is a wardrobe and chest of drawers in pine in both rooms. The upstairs bathroom has an electric shower over the bath plus a wash hand basin and toilet.
The general decor is freshly painted. The whole cottage is very clean and uncluttered. The heating and hot water are electric and very efficient. The ground floor is all wood flooring, and the upstairs the original floor boards are exposed.
The price for the week includes heating, hot water, bed linen and towels, and all electricity.

Lochcarron lies on the A896 about 65 miles due west of
Inverness and across the sea from the Isle of Skye.
By Car:
Lochcarron is 4 to 5 hours drive from Edinburgh or Glasgow.
The fast route is up the A9 through Athol and the Cairngorm Mountains to Inverness then across country on the A835 and A832 through to Achnasheen with the final 23 miles on the A890 clearly signed.
The scenic route, which may be only a little slower, follows the west coast on the A82 through Glencoe and Fort William to
Invergarry then over spectacular Kintail on the A87 to join the A890, again clearly signed to Lochcarron.

From Inverness on the famous Kyle line, one of Britain's most scenic
railways. Strathcarron station is about three miles from Lochcarron
village. Inverness can be reached by overnight sleeper from London
Euston, arriving in Inverness at 08.37 with ten minutes to spare to
cross the platform to the Kyle of Lochalsh train. We can arrange a
taxi to meet you at the station, or car hire is available from the
local garage.
Current prices start at £180.00 for a short break in the winter to £390.00 in the peak season.

Primrose Cottage is available for lets 12 months per year. During the months May to September lets run from Saturday to Saturday, all other months mid week and long weekend breaks will be considered.
