Little Garth is a charming Grade II listed cottage, circa 1855, restored in 2007, the cottage retains period features, which include the oak beams.
The village of Normanby lies less than six miles south of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
The cottage is perfectly situated for exploring North Yorkshire and historic York. Castle Howard, the country house setting for the film Brideshead Revisited is near by, as is the North Yorkshire steam railway and Flamingoland.
The coastal resorts of Scarborough, Bridlington and Filey are half an hour away and the historic port of Whitby just 18 miles.
There are excellent dining pubs in the area - The Star at Harome has a Michelin Star. The Appletree at Marton is "Dining pub of the year".
The cottage which accommodates five people contains, one double room with king size bed, one double room with two single beds and a single room.
The fully fitted kitchen is equiped with an electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge-freezer and washing machine.

From the South:
Take A1(M) and join A64 towards Scarborough. Take B1248 signposted Malton. Normanby is 10 miles from here. Take B1257 towards Helmsley. In Amotherby turn right and follows signs to Kirkbymoorside. Turn left in Great Baraugh and follow road to Normanby. Little Garth is opposite the Church between 'The Cottage' and 'Southill Cottage', through white gate into gravel drive.
