Bay View is beautifully situated beside the beach with panoramic sea views from most of the main rooms. It is in a peaceful location towards the end of a gravel lane with no passing traffic. The beach of Seagrove Bay is within a half minute walk and here swimming, paddling and boating can be enjoyed There is also a footpath directly from the house to the beautiful Priory Bay which is less than a 5 minute walk away. The atmospheric village centre of Seaview, with its small shops, sailing club and restaurants is within a 7 minute stroll.
Bay View is the upper west wing of a lovely large Edwardian house with a small separate apartment above it. The house is one of only two remaining original properties which were part of an attractive esplanade. Bay View has three/four bedrooms and is a wonderfully spacious, light and airy self contained property. It has some delightful features with attractive alcoves and french doors leading from various rooms to small balconies so that full advantage can be taken of the sea views.
The property has been furnished in a traditional style and is centrally heated. There is a large open plan room with a newly equipped fitted kitchen with attractive units, electric cooker and hob, fridge freezer and dishwasher. A washing machine is also provided. There is a pleasant dining area with a large circular table and a separate small table for meals in a conservatory style area so that visitors can take full advantage of the sea view.
A door leads from here to a balcony with an additional table, chairs and a gas barbecue. The sitting room is an interesting and attractive room with windows on two sides and open sea views. It is furnished with comfortable sofas, arm chairs, colour television, video recorder and DVD player. There is an additional dining area by the window, plus a delightful conservatory style alcove with a comfortable arm chair overlooking the sea. Two French doors lead to small balconies where you can stand and enjoy the amazing views of the sea and watch the yachts and boats plus the large liners which occasionally pass by.
The property has a wide central hallway from which the rooms lead off. There are two lovely double bedrooms - both with wonderful open sea views; a very spacious children's room with a single bed, a full size bunk bed, plus a hideaway bed available. This room has a comfortable sofa and provides a pleasant place for young people to relax and play games away from the family. A separate box room with an additional single bed can be used if visitors wish but this room does not have an external window.
There is a bathroom with a bath, built in shower with constant hot water, basin and W.C.; a separate cloakroom with basin and W.C.; basins with hot and cold water in the three main bedrooms. Heating and electricity are provided at no extra charge.
Cot and high chair available if required. A second portable television is provided. Cars can be parked in the lane just across from the property and a raised gantry leads from the lane to the small terrace and the front door of Bay View. Smoking not permitted.
