The owners Nigel & Caroline Bradshaw extend a warm Yorkshire welcome to visitors to The Old Forge. Situated in The Great Wold Valley alongside The Gypsey Race and overlooking an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the cottage is ideally situated as a base for visiting the Yorkshire Wolds, The Yorkshire Coast, the North Yorkshire Moors and the City of York all of which are within 30 miles.
The Old Forge is a single storey, luxury four bedroom Barn Conversion. The historic building has been sympathetically converted to the highest standards and retains many original features. With natural stone floors, exposed beamed ceilings and high quality furnishings, this is a character property with a spacious modern interior.
Living Area: The open plan living area features a cosy wood burning stove set in a stunning brick fireplace modelled on one of the 3 original curved chimneys. Relax by the fire in one of the comfortable leather sofas as you enjoy a glass of wine or a great cup of Yorkshire Tea. An extensive selection of videos and DVDs is provided to make the most of the Flat Screen TV and a number of novels and board games are also available for your enjoyment. If you enjoy listening to music then why not bring a few of your favourite CDs to play on the Sony Micro system.
Dining Area: Situated by full length windows with views of the church the Dining Area features a generous solid oak dining table & chairs. A side table contains maps and walking guides to the local area as well as details of local Pubs & Restaurants. Kitchen: The kitchen is extremely well equipped with a range of oak units and a Stainless Steel Electric Range Cooker. The Bosch appliances include Fridge/Freezer, Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher & Microwave. Denby Tableware & Le Creuset Ovenware completes the quality feel.
Bedroom 1: A room with double aspect & beamed ceiling overlooking both the Gypsey Race & St Mary's Church. This spacious room features twin iron bedsteads, country pine furniture & luxury bed linen.
Bedroom 2: Overlooking the Gypsey Race to the front of the property this pretty twin bedroom also has a beamed ceiling, traditional twin iron bedsteads, country pine furniture and luxury bed linen.
Bedroom 3 (En-suite): A Velux window gives this bedroom a light and airy feel. This spacious double room also benefits from a luxuriously appointed en-suite shower room with power shower, sink, toilet and heated towel rail. King Size iron bedstead, country pine furniture & luxurious bed linen.

The Old Forge is located in the village of West Lutton 11.5m from the historic market town of Malton in North Yorkshire.
From Malton:
Head east on the A64 signposted Scarborough.
Continue on the A64 passing through traffic lights at the village of Rillington.
Continue on the A64 until you see a right turn signposted Wintringham & Wolds Way Lavender.
Turn right and continue on this road passing through the village of Wintringham.
Continue on this road for approximately 4m until you reach a T junction.
Turn right and immediately enter the village of West Lutton.
Continue through the village until you see the church on the right hand side.
The Old Forge is the first property after the church on the right hand side.
