White Witches is a delightfully picturesque thatched country cottage, in the heart of the rolling Mid-Devon countryside located on a working family farm.
Set in a valley surrounded by fields, for you to wander sensibly and stroll along the riverbank, perhaps spotting a kingfisher or even an otter.
The cottage updated in 2007 has upstairs:
2 bedrooms, one double ensuite and one with double and single beds and family bathroom.
Downstairs: there is another single bed in the room the stairs rise from.
There is a fitted kitchen with dishwasher, fridge freezer, built in oven and hob, microwave etc.
Utility room has washing machine and tumble drier. Downstairs loo. There is also a dining room and lounge with wood burning stove. The ground floor is slated throughout. Full oil central heating. There is also a glazed porch as you enter from the lawned garden.
Great for relaxing and getting away from it all or visiting all the delights Devon has to offer. Great pubs nearby for eating out. Swallows nest under the eaves rearing up to 3 broods during the summer.
A warm welcome is assured from this traditional farming family who have farmed here since 1929 and who have been welcoming guests for over 30 years and have become friends with many.
Stable Lodge:
We also have a cottage style detached barn conversion with 2 ensuite bedrooms one with 4 poster sleeping up to 7 people. Kitchen and sitting room with patio doors to the garden. Everything you would expect in a 4 star property. Downstairs there is a wet room suitable for disabled or the less able.
