Holbrook Cottage is situated at the end of a private lane, the cottage is a single storey building attached to the owners home with private access, it is ideal for family accommodation on the Norfolk and Suffolk border for long or short breaks.
It is situated in the Waverny Valley, which is ideal for fishing, walking and boating. Rowing boats can be hired from Bungay (4 miles away) and larger boats-vessels can be hired from Beccles which allows easy access for exploration of The Broads.
There are many places of interest along the Norfolk-Suffolk border these include Beccles, Diss, Dunwich, Harleston, Lowestoft and Southwold which are perfect for afternoon strolls along the beach or for a walk around their towns.
Situated in Lowestoft is a theme park and at Great Yarmouth is a pleasure beach which makes a fantastic day out for all the family during the summer.
Norwich the main shopping city is situated 25 miles away and is easily accessible via buses or by car.
For walkers and their dogs there are some great walks around the cottage or after a short drive, there is Thetford forest or Dunwich which is ideal. Maps are provided.
Fantastic pub-restaurant in Homersfield only a short walk away.

Directions
From the West:
At the roundabout near Diss where the A140 joins the A143.
Take the A143 towards Bungay and Great Yarmouth.
Continue alone this road for about 8 miles, pass over 2 roundabouts both signposted Harleston.
2-3 miles after the 2nd roundabout, you will see a brown tourist sign (Aviation Museum)immediately after this sign there is a left hand turn sign posted Alburgh, on the corner of this turning is the Dove Restaurant.
Turn Left again immediately after departing the A143, this road goes up a steep hill.
Just as the hill levels out, there is a sharp right hand turning down a gravel track.
Take this gravel track all the way until you reach a house with a sign saying 2 Holbrook Cottage.
This is where the cottage is situated.
From East:
At the roundabout near Beccles where the A146 joins the A143, take the A143 exit sign posted Bungay/Diss.
Continue along the A143 for a few miles then go straight over the two roundabouts by Bungay.
Continue along this road for about 4miles, you will notice bumps in the road.
On the right hand side there is a garage and the Dove Restaurant situated by a right hand turning sign posted Alburgh.
Take this turning, and immediately turn left to proceed up a steep hill.
As the hill levels out there is a sharp right hand turning down a gravel track.
Take this gravel track all the way until you reach a house with a sign saying 2 Holbrook Cottage.
This is where the cottage is situated.
