Bayview was an old fisherman's cottage recently completely refurbished to a very high standard. The cottage is situated just a few yards from the ocean, the no 1 spot on the Uists. The views are truly breathtaking even on a winters day.
Lots of various breeds of birds and ducks can be watched from the window, if you are lucky even basking sharks in the bay. You could fish from the garden! or if you wish to bring your own boat, a slipway is located a few hundred yards away. Otters, corncrakes etc are in the vicinity.
The location being in central Benbecula makes it the ideal spot to explore North Uist, Benbecula, South Uist, Eriskay and Barra. You could even get the smaller ferry across to Lewis and Harris and explore them.
The cottage has a multi fuel stove, perfect for the cooler evenings, panel heaters also in every room if required, if you don't feel like lighting the fire. Satellite TV with inbuilt DVD player. Radio and CD player. However with the wonderful view you probably will spend your time gazing out of the window!

Directions
Ferry from Uig on Skye across to Loch Maddy, from there follow the main road, taking directions for Balivanich, Benbecula, pass through Balivanich, you will see a sign saying Griminish,carry on the main road, approx half mile on, the cottage stands on its own on the right down a drive facing the sea.
