The Old Mill Cottage forms part of a restored 17C corn mill. It is situated on the fringe of the village at the side of Gunnerside beck. It offers seclusion but not exclusion.
Gunnerside is set in Swaledale, one of the most picturesque dales in the heart of the Yorkhire Dales National Park. An area famous for it's breath taking scenery and beautiful walks.
The cottage is laid out on three floors, the ground floor has a longe with multifuel stove and kitchen area. The first floor has a double bedroom and bathroom, with large cubicle power shower and the second floor consists of a galleried bedroom.
All rooms have retained may natural features, which include beamed ceilings, polished floors and exposed stonework.
The cottage benefits from full Central Heating. Along with a TV,DVD and CD.
Outside there are private gardens and a large summer house.
Private off road parking in the courtyard. Cycle storage by prior arrangement.
Gunnerside is set in the heart of Swaledale, which is the ideal location for exploring the upper dales.
The village has a local public house, tearoom and licensed restuaurant.
Many local walks commense from Gunnerside. These range from short less exerting, to those of a longer distances with some taxing terrains for the most experienced walker.
The river Swale offers some excellent trout fishing (permits required).

Directions
From Richmond proceed on the B6270 through Reeth on to Gunnerside. Once in the village proceed down the hill, until you cross over Gunnerside Beck with the Public House on the left.
Then turn right and proceed past the blacksmiths to the Old Mill.
