Damers Cottage is located in the rural, unspoilt village of East Chaldon or Chaldon Herring as it may otherwise be known; it was originally converted from the barn and outbuildings, adjoining the farmhouse with some parts dating from the 1580's.
It is typically constructed of flint and brick with a thatched roof and has been lovingly restored by the present owners.
Having a dual aspect, it overlooks the village green on one side and rolling chalk hills on the other.
Ideally situated for walkers, with walks emanating from the village to the South West Coastal Path, now part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site. Four miles South East lies Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.
Grade II listed 3-bedroomed oak beamed thatched cottage, although still with good enough height - sleeps 5 + cot.
Oil fired central heating. No telephone, but the local public phone box is a stone throw away.

Broadmayne / Wool Take second turn right after Garden centre signposted East Chaldon follow road past pub untill you get to village green bear left first cottage on left.
