Cairngorm Lodges is a new development of 5 luxury self catering forest lodges set in their own individual Scots Pine woodland plots in the heart of Royal Deeside. Each has been individually designed by a local architect and all are pet friendly.
The lodges are located in the heart of Royal Deeside and are right on the boundary of Cairngorms National Park and make an ideal base to explore the surrounding spectacular countryside and the Royal Deeside and Cairngorms area generally with its many sporting and tourism activities.
The luxury lodges are equipped to a high standard and sleep up to 4 persons in 2 bedrooms. The only immediate neighbours you will have will be the local wildlife - red squirrels are a daily sighting next to the lodges!
The forest lodges are set in the outstanding woodland estate of Blelack and come with your own pine forest, river and walks! They are within a short walking distance of the village of Logie Coldstone in the Highlands of Scotland and are are close to the charming hamlet of Dinnet, the gateway to the Eastern Highlands and Cairngorms National Park.
Nearby are the larger villages of Aboyne and Ballater with their attractive restaurants and shops. Cairngorm Lodges are close to Balmoral Castle, the Scottish home of the British Royal Family and their are many other historic castles nearby and on the Victorian Heritage Trail.
The forest lodges are all sited within their own plots and are generously spaced apart. The backdrop of the Scots Pine woodland also provides fuel for the wood burning stove - to keep you cosy after a day spent hill walking, fishing or simply relaxing and enjoying the local countryside and forest walks.
Indeed the self catering lodges are located at the foot of the mountain of Morven ( meaning big hill in Gaelic) and there are plenty of walks to keep walkers of all abilities busy in the area.
