Mocketts Farm Cottages are an outstanding complex of four beautiful properties, available for holiday lets. These buildings were recently converted, and finished to an exceptionally high standard, and are situated in the heart of the Harty countryside, on the Isle of Sheppey, in the North of Kent.
The sleepy Hamlet of Harty offers everything a getaway destination should. Remoteness: with large open spaces, fantastic scenery, an abundance of beautiful wildlife, and lots of opportunity for some great walks, along the many footpaths that traverse the eastern corner of the island.
Visit Britain has awarded the cottages a 4 Star grading, with a Gold award for recognition of excellence. There is capacity to accommodate up to 36 guests in total, and everything has been thought of, from providing huge spacious areas, to good quality comfortable beds with en-suite facilities.
There is an abundance of character with original oak beams, and large windows, which let the sunlight stream in. The kitchens are all of a good size and well equipped, so catering is a breeze.
However, we are able to supply various catering options, should they be required. The cottages overlook the farm pond, and there are breathtaking views in all directions.
Up until the winter of 2008, the buildings played an active role at Mocketts Farm, but since being recently converted, they now have a completely different appeal, and are ideal for large groups, looking to celebrate those special occasions, family get togethers, or to just escape from the traumas of modern life.
