Directions

From Glasgow, take the A82 following the side of Loch Lomond, to Tarbet. Then follow the A83, through Arrochar to the 'rest and be thankful'. Turn left toward Lochgoilhead and follow the road down to a give way sign. Turn left and follow the road for several miles until you come to a junction just before a bridge. Turn right here following signs for Carrick Castle. Follow the road for about 5 miles until you reach the village of Carrick Castle.
Rhumhor is situated approximately 1/2 a mile into the village. The drive entrance is on the right immediately after the flat bridge going over Carrick Burn. Parking for 5 cars is located to the right side of the house. See map.
