Directions to the properties from North - Okehampton Area:
Map reference 467 810 - Leave Exeter on the A30 Okehampton road. Go past Okehampton on duel carriageway and at Sourton Cross turn left for Tavistock (by Little Chef). A386. Continue along this road past the Dartmoor Inn on your left. You will shortly come to open moorland and then Mary Tavy Village. In the middle of the village by Downs Bus Depot - turn right towards Brentor. Go over a cattle grid and along open moorland. Over another cattle grid and up into Brentor Village. At the War Memorial turn left and wind your way up the hill to a T-junction - turn left towards Tavistock. Continue on the main road you will see the Brentor Inn on the right. About ¼ mile further on you will see the entrance to Monkstone on the right, with a stone wall and the name Monkstone. (Beside sign for Stags Head Cottage) Drive down the lane to the farmhouse.
Directions from Tavistock:
From the square in Tavistock take the road to Brentor between the two banks, Lloyds and HSBC. Go 4 miles without turning off. Go past the Church on the hill on the right at the brow of the hill. Start going down hill, the entrance to Monkstone is on your left with a with a stone wall and the name Monkstone. Go down the drive to the Farmhouse.
