Walesby is signposted from the Markham moor interchange on the A1 and from the A614, north of the Ollerton/Edwinstowe roundabout.
There is a bus service from Mansfield, or connecting to the Nottingham service at Ollerton.
The nearest train station is nottingham (Midland mainline.
The cottage is on the edge of the village, very close to the church, which is the best landmark.
