The lodge is situated on the Cowal Peninsula of Argyll between Loch Eck and the Holy Loch, six miles North of Dunoon and is set in a small group of privately owned log cabins collectively known as Lamont Lodges.

The lodge site is just off of the A815 6 miles north of Dunoon, between the Cot House garage and Benmore Botanic Garden, on the Cowal peninsula of Argyll.
Cowal is accessible from the south by way of Western Ferries or Caledonian Macbrayne ferry services across the river Clyde from Gourock and by road from the north on the A815. See map.
