Hawthorn Cottage is a newly renovated secluded cottage, situated by riverbank and tidal estuary on the west side of the Island of Lewis. The cottage enjoys wonderful views of hills and is a haven for birdwatchers and hill walkers.
Nestled beside the riverbank, in a beautiful glen at the mouth of Kinlochroag, Hawthorn Cottage can be found at the end of a long private road, making it a haven of tranquillity and wild beauty.
Set against the spectacular back drop of the rocky rugged scenery of distant Harris Hills this traditional cottage provides the best in modern self catering accommodation.

The open plan kitchen with dining area is equipped with electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine. It offers access to the outside picnic bench and seating area from where you can view the river and the magnificent Harris Hills.
