Tamana is a new purpose-built self catering cottage located in the village of Govig, nestling amongst the North Harris Hills on the beautiful Island of Harris.
The breath taking journey to Govig will take you past the old Whaling Station the Bunamhainnedar tennis court and Amhainnsuidhe Castle.

The stunning scenery of North Harris sees the rugged mountain terrain fall into the raging sea, only to be softened by the stretches of soft golden sands of Hushinish, over looking the uninhabited island of Scarp.
Hushinish beach is a five minute drive away from the cottage. Tamana beach (where the cottage finds its name) is a ten minute walk over the hill behind the cottage.
Ample opportunities for hill walking and wildlife are on the doorstep of Tamana Cottage. The use of a boat, which is located on the loch in front of the cottage, is provided at no extra cost. (To be used at your own risk, life jackets are provided.)

CalMac (Caledonian MacBrayne) run the ferry services from the isle of Skye to Tarbert (Harris), from Berneray (North Uist) to Leverburgh (Harris) and from Ullapool to Stornoway (Isle of Lewis), which is approximately 1 hour drive from Tamana.
