The Lodge sleeps eight people comfortably in four large bedrooms, 3 doubles and a twin, all beautifully furnished.
On the Ground floor there is a spacious entrance hall leading to large living room with open gas fire and French windows looking out to the hills.
There is also an open plan designer kitchen, dining area and further living space with access to the garden through patio doors.
The downstairs bedroom has two single beds and is adjacent to a spacious shower room which offers a large shower unit, vanity sink and toilet.
There is a convenient utility room with washing machine and drying area to dry off clothes, on the occassional wet days, after adventures out doors.
Upstairs are three beautiful bedrooms complete with sumptuous furnishings. All three have double beds. The master bedroom has French windows with a Juliette balcony and a delightful ensuite bathroom. There is also a large, beautifully decorated, family bathroom.
All your bedding, towels and power are included.
You can store any outdoor equipment in the garage.

Directions
By Car:
Aviemore is located just off the A9 roughly 80 miles north of Perth, 30 miles south of Inverness.
Travelling times by car are as follows:
Glasgow 2 ½ hours, Edinburgh 2 hours, Aberdeen one and a half hours and Inverness 30 minutes.
From north or south, turn off the A9 into Aviemore village. For finding Lochan Mor Lodge -see below.
By Rail:
Aviemore has its own railway station and is on the main Perth to Inverness line. There is a regular train service to Aviemore.
To get to Lochan Mor Lodge it's a couple of minutes in a taxi or follow the directions below.
By Air:
The closest airport to Aviemore is Inverness (35 miles north) which has inbound flights with Eastern Airways from Newcastle, Leeds/Bradford, Manchester and Birmingham and Easyjet from Belfast, Bristol, Luton and Gatwick. British Airways also flies into Inverness. Alternatively you could fly into Glasgow or Edinburgh and drive/train north.
Finding Lochan Mor Lodge once you arrive in Aviemore From the South:
Through Aviemore, you take the last road on your right before leaving the village (the one after Dalfaber Drive - which you can find on the adjacent Google map if you zoom in on the north end of Aviemore), you are almost out of town and there is a field on your left by this time.
From the North:
Take the first road on the left after you enter the 30mph zone.
From either North or South:
Lochan Mor lodge is then the first house on your left, you will recognise it from the picture on the web site and the "Lochan Mor" stone (hopefully installed soon) in the "dry stane dyke" in front of the house.
To access the drive you have to loop round the back. Pass the house, turn first left, left again then straight ahead to "Y" and carry on round to the left to the front of the house, Lochan Mor Lodge, 9 Mitchell Road. Enjoy!
