Dancing Gate is a former farmhouse which has been renovated to provide comfortable, spacious accommodation for up to 7 adults and 1 child.
There are 4 bedrooms - one double with en-suite shower and toilet, one double, one single with pull-out bed suitable for child and one twin room, and a large family bathroom with both bath and shower, plus toilet.
The fully-fitted kitchen has fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, ceramic hob and oven/grill, microwave oven and is fully equipped with utensils, crockery and other kitchen equipment. The kitchen is open plan to the dining room through an archway. The lounge is comfortably furnished, with TV, DVD and a woodburning stove. A CD/radio player with i-pod docking station is available in the dining room.
A large utility/boiler room provides plenty of room for coats and boots, and for drying clothes etc.
The garden is enclosed and has a picnic bench.
The car parking accommodates up to 4 cars.
Dogs are most welcome (maximum 3).
The cottage is a superb base for walking and touring in the Northern Lake District. Situated on a working farm.

Directions
Dancing Gate is situated on the A591 form Keswick to Bassenthwaite. Take the A66 from Penrith (Junction 40, M6) to Keswick:
On approaching the outskirts stay on the A66, along a short stretch of dual carriageway, downhill to a roundabout.
Take the 3rd exit A591 to Carlisle and Dancing Gate is 1.7 miles from roundabout on the right, go through main entrance into farmyard, then take drive on your right into the car parking area.
