Kessingland is a medium sized seaside village, 5 miles from Lowestoft. It has a sand and shingle beach, with safe bathing, perfect for children. Private access to the beach via a concrete ramp.
Kessinglands beach has won many awards. In 2009, it won a Quality Coast Award from the Keep Britain Tidy Organisation.
Southwolds beaches also won a Quality Coast Award and Lowestofts a Blue Flag Award.

Kessingland is situated on the A12 between Lowestoft and Wrentham. 5 miles south of Lowestoft and 4 miles north of Wrentham.
Turn off the A12 Kessingland bypass at the southerly roundabout and proceed down Whites Lane (B1437), past the Africa Alive entrance and into Church Road.
At the 1st left turn after Wash Lane, turn into Green Lane (opposite car park). Seaview Estate is the 2nd turn on the right. (Sign posted Cliff Estate)
