Directions
From the North - travel on the M74 south leaving at J17 for Lockerbie. Turn left at the first roundabout and right at the second roundabout. (This is the Lockerbie bypass, so if you need shopping go straight ahead at the second and Morrisons & Tesco is at the south end of the High St on the left).At the next round about take the third exit, signpost Dalton continuing on that road for about 4 miles, turn left on the B7020 . At the village of Dalton turn right following the brown sign for Dalton Pottery which is half a mile up the hill on the right from Dalton village.
From the West, travel past Dumfries on the A75 toward Carlisle. About 9 miles east of Dumfries you will see a brown tourist board sign at Carrutherstown, marked Dalton Pottery Art Cafe, turn off the A75 and follow the brown signs.
From the South, travel on the M6 north which at Carlisle turns into the M6-M74. Pass the Gretna junction and then leave the M6-M74 following signs for Dumfries and South West Scotland A75.
Travel on the A75 for about 10 miles, and after passing the second Annan junction watch out for and take a turning on the right for Dalton and Lochmaben B7020.
This takes you about 4 miles to the village of Dalton.
Turn left in the village at the brown Dalton Pottery sign and Dalton Pottery is half a mile up the hill on the right.
