Berrio Mill nestles deep in the peace and quiet of the undiscovered Lynher valley. Here we have an 8½ acre smallholding with sheep, chickens and honey bees.
Guests are also free to fish for salmon, sea trout and brown trout along our 600 yard river bank, or just take a picnic and let the herons, kingfishers or otters do the fishing for you!
From your cottage you have the opportunity to spend the day exploring the local scenery, with footpaths and circular walks through woodland and meadows and along the River Lynher.
Melyn Cottage sleeps up to 2 people. The bedroom has a king size bed, fitted wardrobe and en-suite shower room.
Gwenyn Cottage sleeps up to 4 people. The first bedroom has a king size bed, the second has twin beds, again both rooms with fitted wardrobes.
The bathroom offers a choice a bath with a powerful shower.
Both cottages enjoy a vaulted ceiling in each living room, with fully equipped kitchen, dining and lounge areas and wood burning stove. There are exposed beams throughout the cottages.
The living rooms have windows at front and rear and French doors, which lead to a private patio, with uninterrupted views across the Mill Leat to the fields and River Lynher beyond.
There is an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants, in the surrounding Cornish villages and towns.
Easy access to the beaches and cliff walks of Cornwalls North and South coasts. A few minutes from Bodmin Moor and The Tamar Valley, Plymouth and Dartmoor are only a short drive away.
This is the ideal location for a holiday packed with things to do and places to visit. The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan, are just two of the many attractions within easy reach from the tranquility of Berrio Mill.
A wonderful experience, which many of our visitors return to year after year.
