We offer a dog friendly self-catering holiday cottage on Holy Island (Lindisfarne), in one of the oldest cottages on Holy Island, dating all the way back to the 1780’s.
The cottage is beautifully rennovated, has a log fire, is spacious, comfortable and offers a real home from home.
Ground Floor
Spacious living / dining room, with original beams and open log fire. Sofa and armchairs around the log fire, with a dining area behind. TV, DVD player with a selection of films, and a hi-fi system.
Fully fitted kitchen, with electric and microwave ovens, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer. From the kitchen there is access to a pleasant sunny courtyard, with garden furniture for sitting out.
The main bathroom has a bath and shower.
First Floor
The en-suite master bedroom is very spacious and light, with a king sized bed.
The second bedroom has twin beds and a pleasant southerly aspect.
Facilities
There is central heating throughout and fast hot water. Bed linen and towels are provided, also an iron and ironing board.
A basket of logs is supplied for the fire. Parking is available in front of the cottage.
The cottage is situated right in the centre of Holy Island and provides a great base for exploring the heritage of Lindisfarne and the surrounding Northumberland coastline with its wonderful unspoilt beaches, walks, castles and wildlife.
Enjoy a crab sandwich at one of the Island’s Inns, watch the sunset over the causeway, or listen to the seals singing!
