Each lodge is centrally heated, very well equipped for all your self catering needs and comfortable with its own individual style and charm.
Sleeps 6: Sheep cabins have 3 supersized double bedrooms & 3 bathrooms (2 en-suite) each has the option to be made as a twin and can accommodate a travel cot or blow up bed for young children, Birds cabins have 1 x King-size room with TV (sleeps 2) Space for travel cot 1 x Twin bedded room (sleeps 2) Can be converted to Double 1 x Bunk Room (sleep 2) Great for Children

Patio doors lead on to the covered decking with outdoor seating, mood lighting and dining areas, where you can relax and enjoy the Hot Tub, great views of the surrounding countryside, wildlife and private grounds.
Artlegarth is bounded by dry stone walls, fringed on one side by a screen of tall pine trees, with a long gravel driveway and ample parking by each luxury lodge.
A wildlife pond is visited by various birds year round, there is a charming small stream which flows through the wooded area. A haven for Wildlife which can be seen regularly, watch out for our native red squirrel, wild rabbit and even fox or deer.
Artlegarth Country Lodges benefit from open spaces in private grounds where children can play freely, there are even swings and a slide to make them smile and perhaps keep them off the computer for 5 minutes (Free WiFi is also available).
Described as one of Westmorlands loveliest villages with the finest church in the parish, Ravenstonedale is just 1 mile away and offers 2 good food pubs, a shop and art gallery. A classic bus service operates to nearby market towns and taxis are available from the nearest town Kirkby Stephen.

Directions
Exit the M6 at junction 38 (Tebay). Follow the A685 east towards Kirkby Stephen. After about 6 miles, shortly after passing through Newbiggin-on-Lune, Ravenstonedale is signposted to the right. On entering the village follow the sign for Sedbergh. When leaving the village you will see a Y junction. Keep right signposted Artlegarth over the river bridge and follow the sign left; less than a mile up the lane you see a dry stone wall and a welcome sign for Artlegarth Lodges on the left. CA17 4NW for sat nav.
From the A1: Take the A66 west from Scotch corner to Brough. Turn south at Broughton the A685. Follow the A685 through Kirkby Stephen. About 4 miles past Kirkby Stephen, Ravenstonedale is signposted left. Turn left on to the minor road. On entering the village follow the sign for Sedbergh. When leaving the village you will see a Y junction. Keep right signposted Artlegarth over the river bridge and left up the lane; less than a mile you see a welcome sign for Artlegarth Lodges on the left.
