Sycamore Cottage is situated in the tranquil Eden Valley with stunning views of the Northern Pennines and distant Lake district fells.
The property is located in a peaceful rural area approximately four miles from the attractive market town of Appleby. A recent barn conversion the cottage is one of four in a courtyard setting, retaining some of the original features. To the rear of the cottage there is a patio and lawned area with garden furniture and a BBQ. Ample parking is available.
The accomodation is upside down style and the double and twin bedrooms on the ground floor both en suite. Upstairs is open plan, kitchen, dining/living area with oak flooring and exposed beams. Very well equipped kitchen, large TV with freeview and DVD player, TV's in both bedrooms. Washing machine and dishwasher.
The cottage is well situated to explore the picturesque Eden Valley, with its excellent walks, pretty hamlets and villages.
Enjoy a trip on the Settle to Carlisle railway line, boarding the train at Appleby Station. There is a wide range of attractions to visit in the area including, historic houses, galleries, castles and gardens.
There are sporting activities such as golf, swimming, horse riding and fishing. The beautiful Lake District and Yorksire Dales are within easy travelling distance.

By Car Coming from M6 Motorway South:
Exit at Jct 38 at Tebay and follow the signs for Appleby. Travel through Orton and Hoff until you reach Burrells. Take the right turn signposted Ormside. Follow the road for approx 1 mile, take the second turn off on your right signposted Heights. Travel up that road until you see a sign on the left 'Heights Cottages'. Drive up the hill into the courtyard where Sycamore Cottage is on your right.
Coming from M6 Motorway North:
Exit at Jct 40 and take the second exit signposted A66 Brough. At next roundabout take the 3rd exit A66 Brough/Appleby. Continue on the A66 for approx 13 miles. Exit into Appleby and continue into Town Centre. Turn right over the Bridge signposted Orton. Continue on this road for approx 1 mile before turning left signposted Ormside. Follow the road for approx 1 mile, take the second turn off on your right signposted Heights. Travel up that road until you see a sign on the left 'Heights Cottages'.Drive up the hill into the courtyard where Sycamore Cottage is on your right.
