The charming newly refurbished 3 bedroom 18th century stone cottage is tucked away in a quiet country lane in the unspilt village of Niton, on the southern most tip of the Isle of Wight.
Catering for all your everyday comforts with a good deal of indulgence thrown in, a break at this shutter clad cottage means you will feel very much at home as soon as you step through the front door.
Beautifully decorated througout, traditional and contemporary styles combine, to create a modern twist on the English country cottage. Vintage-esque fabrics and luxurious soft furnishings blend with fresh spring colours. Comfy sofas are piled with cushions, beds are covered by sumptuous throws and the windows are beautifully dressed. All in all there is an atmosphere of home.

Located in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with footpaths at the end of the garden, the cottage is perfectly located for ramblers and cyclists.
Niton village centre is 5 minutes walk from the cottage where you will find a well stocked local convenience store, newsagent, postoffice, butcher, pharmacy and 2 pubs.
The beaches of Steephill Cove, Castle Haven and Compton Bay are a short drive away.

From Fishbourne:
After leaving the ferry terminal turn right onto Fishbourne Lane.
At 'T' junction turn right onto the A3054 sign posted to Newport, East Cowes. Follow this road through Wootton Bridge.
At roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A3054 signposted Newport, Cowes. This road takes you into Newport.
At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A3020 signposted Sandown, Litten Park, and Superstores.
At St George's roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A3020 signposted Shanklin, Ventnor, Sandown. Continue for circa 2 miles until you reach the Blackwater Junction. Turn right onto the A3020 signposted Shanklin, Godshill.
Pass through Blackwater and carry on until you reach Rookley. As you enter Rookley the road forks and there is a 'T' junction.
Turn right sign posted Niton onto the Niton Road. Continue along this road for circa 6 miles and you will eventually enter Niton on the Newport Road.
As you come into the centre of Niton, Norris's Convenience store will be on your left. Continue straight ahead and down the High Street. At the top turn right onto Blackgang Road.
Follow this along for circa 150 metres and take your second right (backing round on yourself) onto Rectory Road. The church will be on your left.
Pan Lane is the first left after the church.
Drive up to the end of Pan Lane.
At the end of the lane you will see a row of cottages and on your right a farm track. Go down the farm track and Scallop Shell is the last cottage on the left.
From Yarmouth:
On leaving the ferry terminal turn right onto Bridge Road. Continue forward onto River Road.
At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A3054.
At the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A3055. This is the coast road and will take you towards Ventnor. Continue along this road for circa 12 miles.
At Blackgang roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A3055 signposted Ventnor, Ryde.
After circa 1.5 miles you will enter Niton. Bear left on the A3055 (one way) signposted All Traffic.
The Church will be on your left.

From Cowes:
From East Cowes Ferry Terminal continue forward onto a unnamed road.

At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A3054 signposted Newport, Cowes.
At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A3020 signposted Sandown, Litten Park, Superstores.
