Badger's Cottage is a cosy yet spacious cottage with all mod cons. It has central heating, a large fenced private garden, parking onsite and is family friendly. The cottage has wonderful panoramic views over rolling countryside and has access to great walks & riding, horses welcome.
Guests are welcome to meet the animals and see them being fed, feed chickens and collect eggs. We have pigs occassionally, collie dog, ponies & cats.
Beaminster has shops to meet all needs, butchers, bakers, Co-op, chemist, post office, gift shops, pubs. It is steeped in history and has an historic church and a museum.
Badger's Cottage has three bedrooms, king sized, triple and bunk bedded, two bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen and in summer use of a sun room.
We are 20 minutes drive to West Bay harbour at Bridport and half an hour from Lyme Regis. Our coastline has world heritage status and is famous for fossil hunting.
This area of West Dorset offers access to many varied attractions including Monkey World, Cricket St. Thomas Wild Life Park, Haynes Motor Museum, Fleet Air Arm Museum Yeovilton, Fossils at Charmouth and Lyme Regis, Weymouth Sandy Beach, Abbotsbury Swannery, sub tropical gardens and play barn.
