This former farm worker's cottage, believed to date back 200 years, has been lovingly restored to provide quality self-catering accommodation.
Set on the edge of the village of Shepton Beauchamp. The tranquil setting combined with excellent facilities provide an ideal base to enjoy a relaxing rural holiday.
The cottage sleeps 4 people: 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom (which may also be arranged as a double (king)), living room with inglenook fireplace and log-burner, kitchen-diner, bathroom with electric shower, small enclosed courtyard. Pets accepted at a small extra charge.
Shepton Beauchamp has some excellent local facilities. There is a Post Office and General Store, a family-run deli and a lively local pub. The nearest market town is Ilminster, just 5 miles away, which should provide everything you need for your stay.
There are some beautiful walks around the village and surrounding countryside; one begins at the lane directly opposite the cottage. We are also on a National Cycle Route.
