By Car.
From Yeovil – Take the A30 signposted Sherborne. Pass the Cooperative filling station on the left, straight across the roundabout Drive up Babylon Hill for ¼ mile and take the first turning on the left. (pull over into the slip road and cross the dual carriage way into the hollow). Drive about a mile, and take the second turning on the right, follow the road to the tee junction and turn left. Follow the road and turn right under the railway bridge and continue past the church, turn left immediately after the pub. Proceed up Churchwell Street and turn into the lane, Apple Tree Cottage is the second entrance on the right.
From Sherborne – Take the A30 signposted Yeovil. Pass the Budgens filling station on the left then turn left at the traffic lights. Take the first right past the Sherborne Hotel on to Bradford Road. Continue along the road for about 2 miles and veer off at signposted junction to Bradford Abbas and Thornford. Continue along this road (pass the millennium stone marked Bradford Abbas) and take next right turn into the village. Turn right immediately before the pub. Proceed up Churchwell Street and turn into the lane, Apple Tree Cottage is the second entrance on the right.
